Taiwo Onabolu

TAIWO ONABOLU is an associate with Groia & Company practicing in the areas of corporate, commercial and securities litigation. Taiwo assists corporate and individual clients in a broad range of civil, regulatory and commercial matters including shareholder disputes, class actions, breach of contract, professional liability claims, and securities regulation.

Prior to joining Groia & Company as an associate, Taiwo worked at a full-service law firm downtown Toronto. Taiwo received his Honours Bachelors of Arts Major in Law and Society and Minor in French Studies at York University, and J.D from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law, where he volunteered as the President of the Student Law Society for the law school. He was also a member of the Black Law Students Association and served as an Executive Director of Operations. During law school, he worked at the Community Legal Aid dealing with ODSP and landlord and tenant board matters, tutored at his local high school in the French and Law courses, and participated and coached in the Canadian National Negotiation Competition. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2023.
