KEVIN RICHARD is a principal of Groia & Company Professional Corporation practicing securities and corporate litigation, with an emphasis on representing a broad range of clients before securities regulators and other government agencies across Canada, and in joint proceedings involving Canada and the United States. Kevin has also appeared before all levels of court in Ontario on various corporate and securities matters, including shareholder disputes, negligence claims against investment advisors and a major quasi-criminal proceeding in the Ontario Court of Justice.
Kevin received his B. Eng. from McGill University in 1993 and his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall in 1997. In 1997 - 1998 Kevin taught Law and Legal English as a Foreign Expert at the Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Chongqing, P.R. China.
Kevin articled at Armstrong, Dunne and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2000. He joined Groia & Company in 2000 and is a member of the Advocates' Society and the C.B.A.O.
