Photo of Jennifer BadleyJENNIFER BADLEY is a principal with Groia & Company Professional Corporation. Jennifer practices commercial and securities litigation and has represented a broad range of corporations and individuals in corporate commercial and securities disputes.

She received her B.A. from the University of Toronto in 1983 and her LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1986 where she received the McCarthy & McCarthy Prize, the Joseph H. Greenspan Memorial Prize in Criminal Law, the Weir & Foulds Prize and was an Editor of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal. In 1988, following her call to the bar, Jennifer was awarded the Harold G. Fox scholarship and worked with the Barristers in the Inns of Court of London, England from 1988 to 1989.

After her return from England, Jennifer practiced with McMillan Binch for several years prior to opening her own firm in partnership with Christopher Osborne. Jennifer joined Groia & Company initially as part of the defence team acting for John B. Felderhof in the Bre-X matter in and then as a Principal in 2006.

Jennifer’s practice focuses primarily on corporate and commercial litigation and she has acted on a number of high profile securities corporation litigation cases.
